Le Corti 2018 Chianti Classico DOCG is the new entry in summer 2020. Available in the Shop, this vintage fills the glass with a vibrant red wine that shows all its sincere personality.
Le Corti, vegan and organic, takes its name from Villa Le Corti in San Casciano in Val di Pesa and fully interprets the elegance of Chianti Classico, like the other labels produced in the Tuscan estate of Principe Corsini.

The vineyards of Sangiovese (95%) and Colorino (5%), from which this wine is produced, are cultivated following an organic farming regime.
Located on a hill, at an altitude of 300 metres above sea level, these vineyards grow in soil containing white river pebbles and brown clays. The southern exposure and the sun of Chianti Classico ensure that the grapes enjoy the maximum benefit from the heat of the earth.
One year aging for this DOCG red wine
After the harvest, in which only the best grapes are selected, the vinification phase begins.
The fermentation process lasts 15 days, with a max temperature of 26° C., in open-air tanks with a temperature control system. The grapes are inoculated with selected indigenous yeasts. This process takes two weeks.
Then, the aging of the wine continues in cement vats for 12 months.
2018 vintage, fresh and aromatic notes
The 2018 vintage of Le Corti Chianti Classico DOCG is a brilliant ruby red, with a fine aromatic phrasing made of violets and iris. To these notes are added the fresh tones of red berries between currants and freshly picked cherries, with the vitality of blood orange and spicy peppers.
In the mouth, this wine recalls balsamic elements, with an almost refreshing finish of citrus veined with spiciness. To enjoy it at its best, you can pair it with an eggplant moussaka.
