Fico Wine is world apart, much more than just a wine: a philosophy of life, a choice.
The idea of producing a wine in respectful harmony with the environment has matured through the different work experiences that Filippo Corsini, Duccio and Clotilde’s eldest son, lived during a year spent traveling around the world.
Back to Villa Le Corti, home of the family and historic headquarters of the cellars, with a new awareness, Filippo develops his project with the support of his father: to create a wine symbol of a new production direction, capable of supporting the rhythms and cycles biological of life, completely natural and that has everything necessary in itself already.
For Filippo, the project represented not only a translation of the example received from his family, but also an authentic life philosophy.
The desire to cultivate vineyards following the criteria of organic and biodynamic agriculture was not a matter of courage for him, but a natural choice, attentive to the planet and to our health.

Fico is the acronym for Filippo Corsini but also the type of tree that distinguishes the Gugliaie vineyard, where the project is carried out.
The Per Filo and Fico labels were designed by Aunt Fiona Corsini of San Giuliano.
The wines produced are two: Fico (the first harvest is that of 2015) and Per Filo (first harvest 2017), both born from the Gugliaie vineyard, among the most suitable of the property.
The grapes of this part of the vineyard are characterized by an excellent balance between flavor and structure which reflects the taste of the land, invaded by river pebbles. Both wines reflect Filippo’s personal vision of viticulture and have marked the future of the business philosophy of Principe Corsini, his partner in the project.
