The sparkling wine rosé Principe Corsini metodo charmat is obtained from Sangiovese grapes that have rested for long on their lees.
It’s a new way to express the territory of Chianti Classico still using its main grape.
Winemaking and Aging
Charmat method through soft pressing of whole grapes harvested in small boxes with a short stop in the inertised press; fermentation of the must for 24 days at low temperature (14° C).
Secondary fermentation for 2 months at 14°C and elevage on yeasts for 12 weeks.
“Leave always wandering the fantasy, the pleasure is always elsewhere: and is dissolved, only to touch, sweet, as bubbles when rain hits” – John Keats
It is the soul of Sangiovese with a shiny freshness of fruit to give personality to this sparkling wine with pink shades, and a graceful soft texture as satin sheets that smell of spring.
A sparkling wine with bright pink-orange reflections, which seduces with the notes of rose petals, freshly picked raspberry, white peach and mandarin zest. The mouthfeel is lively and creamy, the bubbly quenches with a refreshing acidity balanced by the fruit and closes with delicate hints of marzipan and orange.
Spicy fried chicken wings.
