The DOP Chianti Classico Oil

The production of oil represents a flagship of the estate. The olives are processed in an artisanal way in the modern and equipped oil mill of the farm: absolute quality, passion and innovation in the name of a tradition of taste and ancient flavors “.

Le Corti has over 13,000 olive trees that extend over about 63 hectares of surface: the main cultivar is the famous Frantoio to which Moraiolo and Leccino are added. The olives are harvested and processed in an artisanal way in the modern and equipped oil mill. Manual collection, washing with clear spring water and pressing within 6 hours from the collection guarantee the high quality of the product.

Fattoria di Villa Le Corti Oil

After the frost of 1985, which destroyed 96% of the secular olive trees, the renewal of the olive groves started. In 2003 the production of oil obtained the denomination Extra Virgin Olive Oil Chianti Classico DOP and in 2007 the organic certification.

The current production includes Le Corti Evo Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Le Corti Dop Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP Chianti Classico Biologico and Le Corti Dop Moraiolo Extra Virgin Olive Oil Dop Chianti Classico Biologico.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil Le Corti

The olives are completely handcrafted in the modern and equipped oil mill of the farm, aiming to maximum quality. The harvest is manual and the pressing takes place in the day after that of the olives for the DOP oil in the period 15 October – 5 November, within the following six hours from the harvest after 5 November. The extra virgin olive oil that comes from it has an intense and fruity aroma, a full and slightly spicy taste reminiscent of almond and thistle, unique in its kind.

Le Corti Dop Extra virgin olive oil Biologic Chianti Classico

This extra virgin oil obtained from organic olives. The olives are completely handcrafted in the modern and equipped oil mill of the farm, aiming to maximum quality. The harvest is manual and takes place between 15 October and 5 November, the pressing takes place strictly within 6 hours since the collection.The process temperature never exceeds 26 degrees to emphasize the perfumes.

Moraiolo Extra vergin oil Dop Chianti Classico Biologico Le Corti

This Extra Virgin Monocultivar oil is obtained from Moraiolo olives. Villa Le Corti also has over 13,000 olive trees that cover about 63 hectares of surface: the prevalent cultivar is the famous Frantoio to which Moraiolo and Leccino are added.
