Wine cellar tour in Chianti Classico
To discover the beauty and secrets of the ancient wine cellars in Villa Le Corti, book a guided tour accompanied by Principe Corsini wine tasting.
You will experience a journey where good wine blends with the history of the Corsini family, owners of the 250-hectare estate in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Chianti Classico.
Declared of national interest and protected by the law of the Italian state, Villa Le Corti’s historic cellars were projected by the Florentine painter and architect Santi di Tito (1536 – 1603).
Wine Tasting Sangiovese Chianti Classico
Visiting the estate you can experience three types of Tour & Wine Tasting: Classico, Sangiovese, and Terroir. The route begins outside with an introduction to the history of the Corsini family and the techniques of organic cultivation vineyards. It then continues into the eighteenth-century basement of the villa, where the Corsini family has been producing wine and extra virgin olive oil since 1363.
The visit presents the production of wine and the aging areas, recently renovated with the purchase of French oak vats, cement tanks, and amphorae. The tour also presents the oil mill for the production of EVO and DOP oil and ends inside the Osteria Le Corti, for the tasting of wines and oil Principe Corsini.

The Osteria Le Corti is inside the historic cellars of the villa and overlooks the barricaia. During spring and summer, you can have lunch and dinner outdoors. At the weekend, moreover, the aperitif includes an à la carte menu dedicated to the different glasses of Principe Corsini.
The menu of the Osteria offers traditional Tuscan dishes reinterpreted with flair and creativity. at the base of each dish: fresh products, seasonal and zero kilometers, collected in the garden of Villa Le Corti. Birthdays, business lunches, and dinners can also be organized on the estate.
Osteria Le CortiCooking class experience in Tuscany
To dive into the most authentic Tuscany, Villa Le Corti also offers cooking classes in the historic kitchen of the villa, held by Gaetano Arnone. The chef, a great friend of Filippo Corsini, met during his experience at the restaurant “Santa” in New York.
Each experience lasts about 4 hours, which also includes a visit to the cellars and tasting of Principe Corsini wines and oil, in combination with dishes prepared during the cooking class.
