Contact usIn addition to being a dynamic winery, Villa Le Corti in San Casciano in Val di Pesa is an oasis of charm, peace, and tranquility in the heart of the Chianti Classico area. Thanks to the recent renovation of two farmhouses within the estate, Gugliaie, and Sperone, Principe Corsini offers its guests a unique stay in an elegant farmhouse in Tuscany.
In the greenery of Villa Le Corti, you will experience a stay in direct contact with nature, full of the ancient charm of the typical country residences, just a few kilometers from Florence.
Since the Middle Ages, the sharecropping system has been the dominant type of land tenure in the Florentine countryside. Merchants and bankers invested their profits in the countryside, buying land and dividing it into production units called farms (“poderi” in Italian).
Each farm included a farmhouse, which was occupied by the sharecropper’s family. Documents and maps preserved in the Corsini family archive reveal that Le Corti had 32 farms, each with its own farmhouse.
Gugliaie is a farmhouse on the Villa Le Corti estate. The restoration works have preserved its original structure. Even now, it is possible to use the large wood-burning oven in the fully equipped traditional kitchen. The large and comfortable rooms, tastefully decorated, let in lots of natural light, are air-conditioned and equipped with modern private bathrooms.
Overlooking the Gugliaie vineyard, the stone farmhouse of the same name has maintained its original facade, terracotta floors, and ceilings. At the back, there is a shaded courtyard, ideal for outdoor dining. The private swimming pool is located on a terrace and has its own relaxation area. The view over the Tuscan vineyards and olive groves that hug the hills is sensational.
Book your staySperone is the second farmhouse owned by the Corsini family. The structure is perfect for those who wish to spend a relaxing holiday in Tuscany, discovering the scents of nature, the flavors of good food, and the wines of the Principe Corsini estate. The name “Sperone” derives from the particular shape of the building, which develops on an unusual triangular plan.
The location combines ancient and modern comforts to ensure a unique experience in the green of the Tuscan hills. On the first floor of the apartment is the living area, consisting of a kitchenette and a dining room with a fireplace. The sleeping area develops on the second floor: a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a bathroom. The property is completed by a private garden for outdoor breakfasts and lunches, which leads to the swimming pool of Villa Le Corti.
Book your stayFor their stay in Tuscany, guests of Villa Le Corti have a wide variety of choices on how to spend their time. San Casciano Val di Pesa is a typical Tuscan medieval village, located in the northernmost area of the Chianti Classico, about fifteen kilometers from Florence.
The important cultural heritage, combined with the food and wine tradition of the area, makes San Casciano an interesting choice for those looking for an alternative destination to the great Tuscan cities of art. This place is perfect for a holiday immersed in the nature and beauty of the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
The Villa Le Corti team is available to provide information and plan every detail of the holiday. Among the services available, it is possible to visit the cellars of the estate, organize a typical Tuscan lunch with the help of a private chef, participate in a cooking class, and much more.

You will be guided through a journey into the world of wine and the history of the Corsini family, one of the oldest families of the Italian nobility, owner of the 250-hectare estate in Chianti Classico.
Since 2014, Villa Le Corti is home to the Corsini Archive, one of the largest private historical archives in all of Tuscany. It collects 8 centuries of family history which, due to the prestigious positions held by many of its members, represents an essential source for the study of the history, art, and economy of our country.
The visit of the Villa and its park leads, through coats of arms, inscriptions, and antiques, to the discovery of the traditions of this illustrious family, which includes among its ancestors gonfaloniers, bishops, ambassadors, a Saint, and a Pope. In addition, the guided tour includes a visit to the historic cellars, the oil mill, and the “orciaia”, where the family has been producing wine and extra virgin olive oil for over 600 years.
