Description

Winemaking and Aging

Tasting Notes

Pairing

IGT Toscana Sangiovese “Zac” is 100% Sangiovese from the Gugliaie vineyard (2.5 ha) and dedicated to Anna Corsini, the sister of Prince Tommaso, it represents the new challenges of the winery..

The first vintage was produced in 2008 (1,800 bottles). It is a Sangiovese with a strong Chianti character, decisive and elegant at the same time, just like “Zac,” as Anna Corsini was affectionately called by her nieces and nephews and their children.

Winemaking

In steel tanks at a temperature of 28 °C for a period of 16 days.

Aging

It ages 18 months mainly in used barrique. A 12-month aging period in bottle follows (since 2016).

Risotto with Raschera cheese and roast reduction, pheasant with pomegranate, lamb meatballs flavored with laurel.
