The authentic white wine of Tenuta Marsiliana

Vermentino Costa Toscana IGT Principe Corsini was born in the heart of Tenuta Marsiliana, in Manciano. A white wine that is the expression of the most authentic Maremma. Salt, sun and sea air are present in every sip of this wine.

The vineyards of Vermentino grow on the soil of Marsiliana, mainly composed of sand and silt on clay. Elements that give life to extraordinary Mediterranean expressions within every grape and every drop of wine that comes from it.

An IGT from organic farming

To make this Vermentino IGT, the company Principe Corsini selects only the best grapes of its estate in Maremma. Twenty hectares of vineyards where the cultivation takes place in compliance with the organic regime and the harvest is strictly by hand, as it used to be.

The next stage in the soft pressing of grapes and the maceration for 16 hours. The fermentation continues for 16 days at 12 º C and the ageing takes place in steel tanks.

The wine that evokes the scent of the sea

The 2019 Vermentino of Tenuta Marsiliana is a joyful and exuberant wine. Its peculiarity is the sip that evokes the sea. Inside the mouth, it is fresh, savoury and mineral. In the glass, it encloses all the scents of the Tuscan Maremma with its pine forests, the sand and the waves.

Tasting it in front of a sunset on the beach, accompanied by a plate of freshly fried calamaretti or spring rolls, is the best way to appreciate every note of freshness on the palate.

A sip of summer and freshness

The colour of this Vermentino Principe Corsini is bright yellow and evokes the beauty of summer. Inside each drop contains the fruity summer fragrances: peach, white melon, scented Amalfi lemon, lychee and maracuja, with floral nuances of tea rose gardenia and fresh bergamot.

The sip is bright and juicy, light with a mint breeze on the glowing and salty finish.
