Tasting notes

The idea to produce a new wine respecting the environment matured during the multi-faceted professional experiences that Filippo Corsini, the first son of Clotilde and Duccio Corsini, lived throughout a year spent traveling the world.

Returning home to Villa Le Corti, the house of the family and the historical seat of the wine cellars, with his newfound experience and knowledge, he start the project together with his father: to create a wine which was the symbol of a new direction, to produce a wine which followed a different set of criteria, capable of complying with the rhythms and organic cycles of the vines and of the natural environment which, in itself, furnishes all that is necessary for the creation of a great wine.

For the young Corsini, the project did not only represent a contemporary interpretation of tradition as learnt through the experiences gained but further, an authentic philosophy of life.


Manual destemming; fermentation in open French oak barrels for 16 days; daily punch-down of the cap during the fermentation.


Aging may vary, 2018 vintage aged 9 months in the same barriques used during fermentation.

A project that starts from the soul of the earth with the precious treasure to bring to the bottle, the Sangiovese grapes grown according to biodynamic agriculture to protect the purest essence.

Bright red with purple reflections for an elegant and supple wine, with floral notes in evidence, between rose petals, lavender and helichrysum, and a sprinkling of licorice. The spicy note emerges together with the fruit from the center of the glass with a powerful expressive energy.

On the palate it becomes three-dimensional and at the same time pulsating like the message of a morse signal: the length of the currant and pomegranate, the peppery touch, the vibrant spice of cardamom, the balsamic touch of dried mint.

At the end of the sip opens rhythmically on juicy freshness, accompanied in the finesse of the tannin by the enveloping intensity of the wood, between boxwood and humus, with burgundy suggestions.
