Discover Chianti Classico with guided tours and tastings
Chianti Classico, as well as wine production, is a territory particularly appreciated for its history, culture, and landscape. Its hills, dotted with vineyards and olive trees, are one of the most beautiful and well-known landscapes in the world.
At Villa Le Corti, in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, you will have the opportunity to discover the wonders of a timeless place that houses the oldest cellars of the Chianti Classico, built-in 1600 to a design by Santi di Tito. You can also learn about the organic and biodynamic wine production carried out by Principe Corsini. There are four guided tours, with different final tastings. All visits are by appointment, with a duration of about an hour and a half.
Private tour and wine tasting at Villa Le Corti
Each tour of Villa Le Corti is an unforgettable experience, which you can book individually or in a group. Each itinerary to discover the wines and history of the Corsini noble family begins outside the estate, with a presentation of the company and the techniques of organic cultivation.
The visit then continues inside the Villa, where the vinification and aging techniques of the various labels of wines produced: Chianti Classico DOCG, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG and IGT, Sparkling wine and Vinsanto del Chianti Classico, as well as wines produced in Marsiliana, an estate in Maremma.

After following the tour from the external gardens to the underground corridors of the winery of Villa Le Corti, the tour dedicated to Chianti Classico reaches the wine shop for the tasting of four wines expression of the Chianti Classico of Villa Le Corti:
Spumante Rosé Principe Corsini, Le Corti Chianti Classico DOCG, Cortevecchia Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, Don Tommaso Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG and Le Corti extra virgin olive oil.
The cost is € 38.00 per person. Children up to 17 years € 15.00 (oil tasting) – Children up to 6 years free.
Tour & Wine Tasting Sangiovese 100%
The second guided tour is entirely dedicated to the production of 100% Sangiovese cru, organically and biodynamic. The departure is from the Gugliaie vineyard that extends over 2.5 hectares in front of Villa Le Corti and then continues towards the winery.
At the end of the guided tour, there is the tasting of three wines and oil: ZAC Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, Fico, and Per Filo, the two wines created with the biodynamic cultivation project of Filippo Corsini, in addition to the extra virgin olive oil Le Corti. The cost of the visit is € 65.00 per person. Children up to 17 years € 15.00 (oil tasting) – Children up to 6 years free.
Tour & Wine Tasting Terroir
This tour combines the terroir of Chianti Classico with that of Maremma, embraced by the sea, where Tenuta Marsiliana is located, also owned by the Corsini family. The visit makes you fully enjoy the varieties of Chianti Classico and those where the influence of the sea makes each sip a universe of its own.
The visit ends with the tasting of four wines representative of the two areas: Le Corti Chianti Classico DOCG, Don Tommaso Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, Birillo IGT Costa Toscana, Marsiliana IGT Costa Toscana, and extra virgin olive oil Le Corti. Tour & Wine Tasting Natural Wines
The last tasting is dedicated to natural wines, an expression of the future, together with the history and tradition of Vinsanto del Chianti Classico. In this case, the guided tour begins with “Appassitoio”, a place where the grapes destined for Vinsanto slowly wither, and then arrive at “Vinsantaia” for aging in small barrels.
At the end, tasting of Fico IGT Toscana sangiovese, Per Filo IGT Toscana sangiovese, Vinsanto Sant’Andrea Corsini Vinsanto del Chianti Classico DOC and the two extra virgin olive oils. Price: € 65,00 per person. From 6 to 17 years € 15,00 (guided tour and extra virgin olive oil).
