Tour and tasting in the cellar at Villa Le Corti

Built in the 1600s along with the construction of  Villa Le Corti, based on a design by the painter and architect Santi di Tito (1536–1603), the cellars extend over three levels beneath the villa and the surrounding lawn. The tour begins outside with an introduction to the estate and its organic farming techniques. It then continues inside, through the 17th-century underground areas of the Villa, where the family has been producing wine and extra virgin olive oil for over 600 years, offering a glimpse into the mysterious alchemy of winemaking and olive oil production.

 

Tour & Wine Tasting Classico

The visit begins outside with an introduction of the company and organic cultivation techniques. It continues inside along the seventeenth-century underground passages of the Villa.

The visit ends with a guided tasting of four wines: Spumante Rosé Principe Corsini, Le Corti Chianti Classico DOCG, Cortevecchia Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, Don Tommaso Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG and our Le Corti EVO oil and Le Corti DOP oil.

Tour&Wine Tasting Cru Experience

The tour begins in the Gugliaie vineyard, cultivated according to the principles of Biodynamics. It then continues indoors, through the seventeenth-century underground cellars of the Villa.

The visit concludes with a guided tasting of 4 wines: Zac, the cru of Villa Le Corti, a 100% Sangiovese from the Gugliaie vineyard; Fico and Per Filo, two wines created as part of Filippo Corsini’s natural winemaking project; the Vin Santo Sant’Andrea Corsini; and two extra virgin olive oils, EVO and Chianti Classico DOP.

Price: € 65.00 per person. Children up to 17 years € 15.00 – Children up to 6 years free. All our visits are by reservation. Visit and tasting last about an hour and a half.

Tour & Wine Tasting Terroir

Immersed between Chianti Classico and Maremma, Villa Le Corti and Tenuta Marsiliana are among the oldest wineries in Tuscany. The different vines, the terroir, the climate and the influence of the sea make each wine unique and different.

The visit ends with a guided tasting of four wines representative of the two realities: Le Corti Chianti Classico DOCG, Don Tommaso Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, Birillo IGT Costa Toscana, Marsiliana IGT Costa Toscana and Le Corti extra virgin olive oil and Dop oil.

Visit to the Gardens and Historic Cellars

The Visit to the Gardens and Historic Cellars ticket includes entry to Gardens of Villa Le Corti (The Lawn, The Italian Garden, The Vegetable Garden and the Orchard, Don Tommaso’s Garden, The Cypress Avenue, Donna Anna’s Garden) and the Historic Cellars of Villa Le Corti (Vineyards, Winemaking Cellar, Aging Cellars, Bottling, Orciaia, Vinsantaia, Oil Mill).

At the end of the tour there is a tasting of Principe Corsini’s wines and oil. At the end, you can stop at the Osteria to taste traditional Tuscan dishes and at the Enoteca to buy the wines and oil produced by Principe Corsini.

Visit the Cellars and the Gardens

Osteria Le Corti

The visit ends at Osteria Le Corti, where it is possible to taste the wines and the Principe Corsini oil with a selection of organic cheeses with local honey and homemade jams, a selection of locally produced Tuscan salami or one of the dishes of the Menù à la carte.

Here are our proposals:

Visit the Osteria

Visit of Villa Le Corti

The visit of the ground floor of the Villa, residence of the Corsini family, and its Italian garden will take you, through everyday life objects, coats of arms, inscriptions and ancient furnishings, to discover the traditions and history of this illustrious house. You will discover its gonfalonier ancestors, bishops, ambassadors, a Saint and a Pope.

Price: € 25.00 per person. Children up to 17 years € 15.00 – Children up to 6 years free.

All our visits are by reservation. The visit of the Villa lasts about an hour.

Private visit of Corsini Archive

In 2014, Villa Le Corti became the new headquarters of the imposing Corsini Archive which collects 8 centuries of family history which, due to the prestigious offices held by many of its members, represents an essential source for the study of history, art and economy of our country.

Price: € 40.00 per person. Children up to 17 years € 20.00 – Children up to 6 years free – Minimum 4 people.

All our visits are private and by reservation. The visit to the Villa and the Archive takes about one hour.

Tour & Tasting Tenuta Marsiliana

At Tenuta Marsiliana you can visit the castle and the museum of the farm, designed and set up in every detail by Donna Giorgiana Corsini. Four rooms under the tower reconstruct the daily life of the time and allow the visitor to breathe the atmosphere of the 19th century Maremma. Inside the museum there is also the reconstruction of an Etruscan tomb, the “painted tomb of the Cancellone”, in homage to the passion for archeology of Don Tommaso Corsini, to whom we owe the discovery of the “Fibula Corsini” and the “Tavoletta di Marsiliana ”, one of the rare examples of the Etruscan alphabet discovered today, preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Florence.
