Pairing

Chianti Classico Gran Selezione “Zac” is 100% Sangiovese from the Gugliaie vineyard (2.5 ha). It is dedicated to Anna Corsini, the sister of Prince Tommaso and it represents the new challenges of the winery.
The first vintage was produced in 2008 (1,800 bottles) whet it was an IGT Toscana Sangiovese. In 2016 this wine became a Chianti Classico Gran Selezione red wine.

Winemaking

In steel tanks at a temperature of 28 °C for a period of 16 days.

Aging

It ages 18 months mainly in used barrique. A 12-month aging period in bottle follows.
